The Jubralee is a good bra, much like the Fiona (which is a great bra). It does not provide more support than the Fiona even though some say it is the *most* supportive. I like Fiona better (the perfect bra in my opinion). The Jubralee seemes less substantial--it has got two clasps instead of Fiona's three (in my size), the band is less wide, the straps are taped rather than stitched, the material on the inside around the cups is thinner, the velcro is more flimsy. I found it tighter and more constrictive than Fiona but no more supportive, so I would choose the Fiona (since it's more comfortable comparatively and just as supportive). I never feel or think about the Fiona but I notice that I'm wearing a tight bra when I wear the Jubralee. However, it doesn't stretch (like Fiona does) so if you find your perfect size, it'll stay that way for multiple workouts between washings. But if you love Fiona, stick with it! The price difference between the bras also makes no sense to me--the Jubralee does not seem any more complicated in terms of materials, design, etc.

I got the Jubralee in the same band/cup size as the Fiona (34C) and it was fine, though I can see why some people might find it constricting and want to go up a size. If you're okay with a really tight bra, you can buy it in your normal size.

I bought this as an in-between bra, to wear while running. I've lost some weight and the girls have shrunk, and my other brand sports bra had gotten saggy and baggy. I tried on every Moving Comfort bra this running shop had (at least the ones made for D-DD). Here's my rundown of all of them, starting with Jubralee:

Jubralee: Put it on like a bra, so no awkward "sports bra yoga" moves. Lightly padded, so only slight "headlight" effect when it's chilly. Moderate support (we shall see how these velcro straps hold up - literally). Minimal back fat, but still armpit fat. This bra does run small. I was wearing a 38DD in my old sports bra (another brand), but my regular bras are 38D. I purchased this one in 38DD but probably could have used a 38E, except the store didn't carry it.

Fiona: My runner-up choice. It wasn't as heavily padded as the Jubralee, but the fabric was softer. The rib band curled up when I jogged in place. It didn't feel nearly as supportive/compressive as the other bras. This one would have been nice for light yoga or walking.

Maia: I was excited for the underwire, but less than thrilled about the neckline and back situation. This bra was easy to get on as well. But no matter what band size I tried, I had back fat. Oh, and headlights galore! The underwire also shows through. Not attractive. Minimal armpit boobage.

Juno: The extra padding in the straps was a nice touch, but putting this bra on required the skills of a contortionist. Why are all these sports bra companies suddenly combining hooks AND racerback? They've got to be designed by men, or women who don't understand the difficulty of trying to "slip" a racerback sports bra on over large breasts. Again, no matter what band size I tried on, I had back fat. Although, look at the models in all of these pictures. Zoom in. They've all got it too. And armpit fat.

Rebound Racer: The only discernible difference between the Rebound Racer and the Juno was the thickness in the shoulder straps. Otherwise, it was a binding yoga pose just to get into this thing. Back fat and armpit fat, again.

Will I buy Moving Comfort again? I'm not sure. I'm about 50/50 right now. We'll see how long the Jubralee holds up.

Runs small

By wayfarer

from Utah

Pros

  • Comfortable While Moving
  • Cute Colors
  • Easy to put on
  • Good support

Cons

  • Straps Werent Long Enough
  • Velcro Doesn't Hold Well

Best Uses

  • Running

I have a long torso, so almost all bras ride up. I had the Juno previously but it was such a pain to put on. I decided to try this one because it looked easy on and I liked the support I got with Juno. Unfortunately the straps were way to short. The whole thing fell apart during a race and my husband had to help me pin it. I took the velcro off and sewed the straps in place at their full length and now it fits great! Otherwise, I love the support and ease of use of this bra, now that I tweeked it!

Great as a work out bra, no headlights, very comfortable straps, padding nice on shoulders. Wish it had a crossback, bought a 38D and fits well.

I am a bit large busted and found the support when I run good. It is not hard to put on or take off and I like the strapes. My only complaint is that the width of the cups seem narrow. I would like a little more coverage width wise.

I was a big fan of the Juno but the straps were hurting my shoulders after 4 miles…. The Juno 32DD was too small and the 34D was too big BUT this bra has provided me with the same support as the Juno in a 32E without hurting my shoulders… the girls do not move and I have run over 8 miles in it. I do miss two things about the Juno, the style and the coverage (no nipple)… but running without shoulder pain is GREAT! I am looking around to find the other colors in a 32E since I will be replacing the Juno.
