I tried both size xs and s. Size xs fits snugly. Size s fits more like a regular bra (but by wearing the straps crossed over, it fits almost as good as size xs). When laying flat on the table, the band length (from hook to hook) is 24 inches for size xs, and 25.25 inches for size s. The fabric is a bit stretchy but the bra provides good support.

I do elliptical 20 miles/week on average. The shoulder straps are very comfortable, the wider band feels secure - 2.25 inch wide (height? with 3 hooks in a column), there is no headlights showing, and it offers good coverage and stability. Like it very much!

I bought this bra specifically for running, and it looks great when worn, and seems supportive enough for running too.
Sadly, it is useless for running due to one reason. No matter whether I wear it with the straps crossed over or not, the hooks continuously come undone after a short while (and I've tried varying lengths to see if anything helps). I can only wear this bra at home for activities around the house, unless I want to be caught running down the road with loose bra straps...so keep this in mind before buying.
I have another moving comfort bra that I love, but I will not purchase another with "adjustable" straps...really unfortunate.

Comments about Moving Comfort Vero C/D:

I was a frequent marathoner before I got pregnant. I loved the A/B Vero before pregnancy (even though I was small, ~34A or 36A, I liked the snug support - Med that is, as I found the Small band size was too tight). I very quickly grew out of my A/Bs (still running, but no more marathons while preggo!), but the med C/D is just perfect! Wish I had ordered more!! Vero C/D says med impact, but I find it to be high. Love the adjustable straps and no "headlights" and no bouncing!

Comments about Moving Comfort Vero C/D:

I was concerned about sizing, I am 5'10" and depending on the bra wear a 38C or 38D. So I ordered both a large and x-large - at first I thought the large was bit snug, but quickly discovered it was fit just as it should. The x-large is nice, but not snug enough for running, it's okay for yoga, walking, etc.

Regardless, it is a fabulous sports bra, the most comfortable I have owned. On another note, I have a client who is an AVID runner (runs 100 mile races) and she swears by the Moving Comfort brand (sports bra, shorts...).
