All our sports bra and apparel concepts and designs are rooted in Bothell, WA, near Seattle. From the moment a garment is designed, our team then prepares extensive wear testing on each piece. We wear and wash, then repeat cycle until we nail a fabric and fit that we’re proud of.

How long has Moving Comfort been in business?

We started when there were no women’s workout clothes. We know, it sounds like a faraway land and time, but really it was March 13, 1977 in Arlington, VA. Our two founders were women in their 20s who loved to run but hated the strange-fitting men’s shorts they had to run in. Keep reading…

Most of our products are manufactured outside the United States by people skilled in the specific operations needed to make a particular garment. We take great care in selecting quality factories that share our ethical commitment to fair labor practices.

I don’t have a professional bra fitter/store in my area. How can I find the right bra?

We understand that finding a professional fitter is not easy. Our Bra Finder will take you through a step-by-step process in helping to select the best fitting bra for your size and activity level. Before you make your final purchase, be sure to read expert advice under Bra Basics.

When you receive the bra, be sure you put the bra to the test by mimicking the activity you plan on doing. Try jumping jacks, arm circles, twists and running in place. If you have to adjust the bra during the se activities, it might not be the right fit.

How do I find apparel that fits my size?

We understand that finding the right fit is hard. Especially when sizes between brands is not consistent. We take great care in making sure that our products fit true to our size guide.

Looking for extended sizes? We offer select apparel in sizes 1X-3X through our MCW (Moving Comfort Women) collection. You’ll also note that several of our pants come in short and long lengths.

What's the best way to care for my Moving Comfort sports bra?

While all of our sports bras are machine washable, here are some tips to give your sports bra a longer life:
  • Fasten the hooks before tossing them in the machine.
  • Hang dry. Dryers wear down the fabric and moisture management properties. If you do use the dryer, do not use fabric softeners or sheets.
A sports bra should be replaced every 6-12 months. If you can’t read the care label anymore, it’s time for an update.

What are your shipping options?

Orders are sent via standard ground shipping for a flat rate of $5. Estimated delivery time is seven to 10 business days from the date of purchase. Our main shippers are USPS and UPS. When your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping status email that includes a tracking number to allow you to track your order online.

What is your return and exchange policy?

We stand behind each and every product that we develop. We will replace or exchange your product for any reason within the first 30 days, as long as the garment is unworn, unwashed and still has the original hangtag. Please visit our return & exchange page for all the details.

How can I retrieve my password?

On the first page of the checkout process, or on the Account login page, click the link that says “Forgot your password? Why do I have to use a U.S.-issued credit card?

We verify all transactions using Address Verification Service. All banks within the United States participate in this service, but unfortunately, no banks outside the U.S. (or very few, at best) do. For this reason, we can only take cards issued by banks within the U.S.

Is your site secure?

Absolutely. During the order process, all personal information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.

Why do you require my email address?

Your email address is required so that we can communicate with you quickly and efficiently regarding your order(s). You will receive the following emails from us:
